Airsoft Guns
Airsoft Guns were first developed by in the United States about 30 years ago and were intended for light entertainment. Airsoft guns use air, gas (CO2, Green Gas), electric motor, or a spring to propel a 6mm lightweight plastic BB at a speed of 100 feet per second (FPS) to upwards of 300 feet per second depending on the gun. Airsoft guns allow you to use them indoors, outdoors, in a safe enviroment while avoiding all the risks of real firearms. Most airsoft guns are required to have the tip of the gun painted in orange so they're not mistaken as a real firearm.
There are basically 3 different propulsion systems for airsoft guns. Spring/Air, Electric (AEG), and Gas (which uses carbon dioxide (C02)).
